love your look, own your vibe.

Welcome to Aime Beauty where our 'aime' is to please.  We offer a variety of brow and lash service.  Our expert brow stylist will guide you through your shaping every step of the way to achieve the look you want.

About

My name is Aimee Iva

Thanks for stopping by Aime Beauty Services, my first solo endeavor,  located in the financial district of downtown Toronto.  At Aime Beauty we specialize in brow shapings having waxed & tweezed hudreds of brows over 20 years  in the industry.   Personally, I struggled through & survived  the  best and worst of the brow trends so no matter what style you're after we got you covered.

' I chose the name Aime for a few reasons, and no it's not just a misspelling of my name.   I thought it was a fun  play on words, a double entendre sort of.

Firstly it's a nickname of mine, pronounced as 'aim'.

Secondly, In French it holds the meaning of 'beloved' or 'love' which is why I've utilized hearts throughout my branding.  I want everyone who experiences a service with me to love their brows and their look.

Lastly,  I took the direct meaning of the word aim, 'a purpose, intention or desired outcome' & 'the direction of something towards a target'.  With that in mind I played around with the idea of slogans and what type of service I do.  This is why my branding took on a heartshaped target.  I take much pride in my work, and I aim to please.  I take aim and intend to never miss by delivering top quality results during every service.

I really hope my brand value is conveyed through my work and through my overall brand image.'

At Aime Beauty Services, we strive to provide safe and effective waxing services. However, skin grazing or lifting may occur in certain cases, especially if:

By booking a waxing service, you acknowledge the potential risks of skin grazing or lifting and agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided by your technician. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us before your appointment.

What to Do for Skin Grazing After a Wax

If your skin experiences grazing or lifting after waxing, follow these steps to promote healing and reduce discomfort:

1. Clean the Area

  • Gently cleanse the area with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and lukewarm water to prevent infection.

  • Pat dry with a clean, soft towel—avoid rubbing.

2. Apply Soothing Products

  • Use an aloe vera gel, a fragrance-free moisturizer, or a soothing ointment like Aquaphor to calm the skin and prevent dryness.

  • Avoid products containing alcohol, fragrance, or active ingredients like retinol or acids that may further irritate the area.

3. Avoid Heat and Friction

  • Keep the area cool—avoid hot showers, saunas, or intense exercise for 24–48 hours.

  • Wear loose, breathable clothing to minimize friction on the affected area.

4. Protect the Skin

  • If the area is exposed to sunlight, apply a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to prevent hyperpigmentation.

5. Avoid Picking or Scrubbing

  • Do not pick, peel, or exfoliate the area as this can delay healing and cause scarring.

6. Monitor for Infection

  • Signs of infection include redness, swelling, heat, pus, or persistent pain. If you notice these symptoms, consult a healthcare provider promptly.

7. Give the Skin Time to Heal

  • Allow the skin to fully heal before scheduling your next waxing appointment. Depending on the severity of the grazing, this may take 7–14 days.

If you’re unsure about how to care for the area, contact your waxing professional or a dermatologist for advice.
